Of the four songs just posted to nowehere radio, this is our closest one to "radio" format. Still learning how to put this lovely Houston mixer controller to work so dynamics are a bit lacking, but let me know what you think of the vocal editing thus far. Thanks, Guy.

Big Sound. Great size...really fat and large. Frequency balance is supurb. Need to do something about those SSSSSSSSSSSSes on th vox.
Then we get to 1:30.....
.
Everything is fine until 1:30. It ges Loud on the highs..just way out there unnatural until 2:17 until the end is fine. The hat is just way up. Ear bleed there. You got to leave some room for dummys that have their treble control cranked. I am setting flat and I was overwhemed by the highs from 01:30 Until 2:17 Snare..too much highs.
Good presentation. Listen to the mix from another room..just leave it playing and walk into a room or down the hall. Anything sticking out from that location will be heard.
Cool Job..I was getting off on it until the unbalanced highs at 01:30.
Remember, my critique is mainly for sonics, mixing, and masterability. I like the tune..good work, good playing!!!! |
