This is not your track, but something to let you know the level I like.
The highs will be way out of wack due to MP3...because this is high rez and mp3 cannot handle it...
But ONLY what I am trying to show is how heavy compression will not destroy the track.
this will be very hot on the highs due to cramming a 32 bit 384 to a MP3...but dynamics are accurate.
Look at the dynamics on final master. (Song one)
D load it, listen to it...
then the next tune comes in (see other post) that is wrong mix for this mastering to let you know each song gets special attention. Way wrong.
This is school dude!
Mastering engineers have a good time because we treat every song completly different for that tune. Tune one was proper (less the too much MP3 high freqency boost) and track two..although it was perfect, was not right for track on mastering. (way off for track one settings I used) Both songs were done 2+2 and both were great mixes.

Bill-
I hear exactly what you mean. I'm at work listening on totally subpar computer speakers, but it's still obvious. The second one's highs are strident and the whole mix feels less unified than it could.
It's great to have those two songs in the same file with an explanation of the processing.
Thanks for the school.
