In just gets deeper and deeper.
The filter is such constructed that you may barely know you are in it….
Only those with objective foresight can see the evolving strategy.
A path that bends and swerves to the oncoming traffic…

THE PATH OF LEAST CONSISTANCE……
Very Happy

Doors that were previously nailed or glued down , .. shall be opened….
The brain is but a sponge….absorb the knowledge as if it were water ,
…then release the excess fluid on a big night out….while maintaining dignity and reason. Very Happy

Reject the EGO as if it were the devil.
It will only do you harm in the long run.

Believe in thyself from the ground up.

Base this on two things….I.Q and musicality. Very Happy

Both Doug and Freaky get the full scores for the last question
…ummm..except Doug gets 3 points less unless he can give a reason why he stated this:

“In a infinite universe there is a probability of 1 that there is life else where meaning there has to be “

Does this mean that you have written this before?
Is all this going on excactly in parrallel elsewhere?
Isn’t that a probability of one as well?
Are there two of me?

Tell me/convince the above Doug for 3 points ( in 100 words or less )…to match Freaky’s earnings of 80 POINTS.
Otherwise you get 77 POINTS
….which still puts you well in front BTW…..

In statistics we know that given and infinate number of trials, which is what infinate space would represent, the probibility of a match is definate. Also if you have never ending space then you have never ending results so actually the potential for life is limitless and the are infact infinate lifeforms. If space is in fact infinate. Smile

A:261.626 Hz

B:So the other notes of the octave, in just intonation, would also have frequencies which were an integral number of Hz.

C:The harmonics emphasize one another or compliment the base frequencies

D:False, Beethoven was deaf in both ears, Wilson, one.

A. I'd put Middle C at 261.6256 hz (American equal temperament tuning)
B. A is set at 440 for equal temperament tuning which allows the hz frequency of other consonant notes to be derived by the formula f sub-n = f sub-0 times 2 to the n/N power. It is possible to figure out the hz value of any note in any octave using this formula, with A440 as a base.
C. The frequency of each note matches up well with each other note at regular intervals, thus they all sound pleasing and cheerful together.
D. False. Beethoven had very slight partial hearing in both ears, but overall worse hearing ability than Wilson.

Very interesting yet both quite close. Smile

A/ You both get points for ‘A’ , very good … 10 points each.

B/ I’m not totally convinced on you ‘B’ parts…. although Doug does quote the all important formula…
Doug 24 points
Freaky 18 points

C/ Freaky almost gets full points on this one …. It’s all about the natural order of harmonic placement…
..and emphasizing what’s already there and natural.
Doug 25 points
Freaky 35 points

D/ Both correct. … 10 points each.

Totals:
Doug….10 + 24 + 25 + 10 = 20 + 49 = 69.
Freaky…10 + 18 + 35 + 10 = 20 + 53 = 73.

Total Scores:

ALK509 15 points

CONSUL 20 points

CORNFLAKEOFDEATH 93 points

CHRISSUGAR 18 points

DOUG102938@aol.com 363 points

SKEETCH 35 points

TEKKER 140 points

FREAKY 252 points
