Please Help... Long hair... charity...

Tonight I shaved my head. Completely. Over a foot of hair. I will be donating all of my hair to the Locks of Love organization. They work to provide hairpeices to children under 18 that are suffering from medical hair loss, mostly from a condition called alopecia areata. I urge anyone else here with long hair to do the same, or if you know anyone with long hair please let them know about it. They also accept money donations. Please try to spread the word.

These kids didn't do jackshit to deserve this utterly fucked up situation. Please try to help anyway you can and make life more fair.

My girlfriend did this a while back. She's asian, so some kid got some damn nice hair! Cool to mention this, e-cue Smile

Also, welcome to the shaved head club! I too used to have long hair... you'll never go back.

I hate it when I don't get things cause then I have to ask and make myself look like a moron! Well, i'm not going to do it! If you feel like explaining, by all means, do so, but I just can't ask! Smile

I'd more than happily donate hair if I had any....I cut my hair to 1/4" every other week or so....
