I have finally had a chance to try out the Peluso 22 47 microphone, so rather than try to explain how it sounds, here is a Jim Croce song I recorded in my living room this evening.
The signal chain is: (Vocals 2247)(Guitar AT4033)--->Avalon AD2022 preamp--->E-MU 1212m sound card
I panned the guitar to the left and the vocals to the right so you can hear it a bit better. I just gave it a tad bit of reverb, no eq
Ya, when you say, "exposes everything", you are not kidding. I really wanted a good accurate recording chain, and that is in fact what I got, which can work against me at times. But I just have to work harder at making it sound good, especially when singing has never really been easy for me.
