i want to setup my quitar on the cbase sx, so i'll be able to record.
i have make property all the connections with my (quitar, sound car and my quitar amplifier) but after that, i don't know what i must do to setup my quitar in the programm.
when i'm trying to record,i don't have a signal.
is anything i can do to fix that from the devise settings or anything else from the menus of the cbase? |

Greetings,
In order to answer your question will you please be more specific. Which version of SX are you using? What computer (Mac, PC), operating system and soundcard are you using? How are you connecting your guitar to your computer? You mentioned an amp; are you micing it or using a recording/direct out from it?
The more detail you can give the question, the more accurate the answer(s) will be. |

Pc details : Windows Xp Prodessional
Intel 3,06 GH
Intel Cpu
2 Gb Ram
SoundBlaster On Board
I hava one Marshall Amp.The conection is like that:
With a cable i connect the quitar in my amp's output
and then i use a second cable to connect the amp(line out)
with my soundcard(line in).
I hope it's the right way.
I also use the Cubase vst 32.
I had the SX (I don't which version) but i lost the cd and know i have to work with the Vst. |

I don't have VST so I can't help you there, but have you posted your question at http://www.cubase.net?
As far as losing your CD for SX that should be no problem. Just contact Steinberg support and give them your security key number and they should be able to help you get the media. You do have your security dongle key don't you? |
