I am new to Digital Recording, so hopefully I am experiencing a novice issue that is easily solved:
I have Cubase LE installed, and an MAudio Delta 1010 card installed. I have verified Windows XP DOES recognize the card as a working card, drivers are also verified as working. However when I fire Cubase up, it will not give me an option for using the 1010. The only sound cards Cubase will see are the SBLive I have installed, and the onboard sound if I re-install it.
Are there compatibility issues I am not aware of between Cubase LE and the Delta 1010?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, thanks! |

Greetings,
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Cubase? I don't know about your version (LE) but in SX when you install it, it searches for all interfaces and runs a test to ensure compatibility. Worth a try, I'd say. |

Are you using the ASIO drivers?
Start Cubase, go to "Devices" -> "Device Setup" -> "VST Multitrack" -> and select "M-Audio Delta ASIO" in the "ASIO Driver" drop-down box. |
