I'd love to hear what you think. I'm very interested in feedback from experienced folks as well as the casual listener.

Cool song dude! Great guitar playing, and great tone. My only gripe is the cymbals..... they could probably be brought down a bit (I am listening with headphones though). Are these drums sequenced?
How was the acoustic recorded? Too much reverb for my tastes, but I think it fits the song. |

The cymbals aren't actually bad considering they are samples. Little trash canny, but that is like all sampled stuff. Great song though. Good Job! Nice Guitar tones.
We should put some real drums on that baby!

Thanks for listening. I agree about the cymbals, they're a bit much. Should be an easy fix though. I used BFD.
As far as the acoustic.....I was still waiting on a piezo-equipped Brian Moore to arrive when I sequenced the intro using Dimension Pro from Cakewalk. I thought it sounded pretty good so I kept it. The strumming and arpeggiated stuff later on in the song were a combination of the BM guitar and CWDP. |

Thanks....
Yea, real drums would be awesome, but probably more trouble than it's worth ...for me anyway....It's just a hack hobby. |

Great song. One of the best ive heard on these forums albeit i haven't heard that many. It reminded me of Steve Vai at times. I dont know if he is an influence of yours but certain riffs sounded Vai-esque. As for the recording i agree with everyone else; the cymbals are a bit much but the guitar tone on both acoustic and electric parts are very nice. |
