Recently we got a chance to play live (usually performers settle with playback....) on our national TV. ANd we decided to play a piece that even grandmas watching the programme would burn their as*es off.
Well me what you think

Excellent. Kudos for going at it live.I know that sometimes the audio feed to the performers in a TV studio can be a little less focused than it should be... (sorry Remy) I like the song too. and thought the TV board op did a nice job on the mix. |

THank you all for chipping in with the kind words.
They soudn very honest.
Live is the only way we wanted to go.
Sound guys were a bit edgy at first (it's an extra hassle to do live performances, in a live TV -show with LIVE band....)
After the soundcheck we did nto know what to expect from the sound. Manager said that in the studio it sounded very poor. Offcourse it did. I was relieved wehen i heard the first 2 bars of entry. Everything happens all at one guitars, bass, drums synths...
And i knew the tech would have a bit of work mixing the 10 tracks instead of the usual 2 (playback) that most of the performers/dancers need when on the TV show.
but it turend out well and it is a good promo for the band. I love the youtube scene also. So quick and easy....
Thanks for the comments again, means a lot |
