let me know how it could be better
www.myspace.com/therocketsmusic and remember myspace plays at a low mp3 level so just ignore the mp3 quality

i HATE the MP3 conversion on myspace...but waddaya gonna do with that much bandwidth???
Okay boys....the guitars are nice and drums more than adequate. The vocals are buried a bit and not very clear. Could be a bit of separation is in order there. You want the music to support the vocals when they're going. You can do this in several ways...sometimes a bit of compression on the vocals will get it to stick out....a bit of selective EQ can do this also....another trick is to mix all the elements into separate stereo 'stems'......ie: a sub mix of stereo guitars with separate EQ and compression....stereo subbuss of drums ....stereo ect etc...and then bring it all together as a mix. This allows different EQ's and effects on each section of the instruments and allows you to blend rather than superimpose.
Good work at this point. |
