I've been lurking on these forums for a while and I think, so that we can all get to know each other a little better(and know what we're working with), that we should post pics of our studios. COME ON LET'S SEE EM!!!! |

I don't know if you'll get any response. No one wanted to post any favorite mixes they'd done. Best of luck to you. |

Hey good idea, I am currently setting up in a new location. But I will try to post some shots when I get all moved in. I love to see other people set up though. If search a bit there are a lot of pics up already, but it would be nice to link them to this thread. |

Ok I guess I'll start. This is my temporary set up. I'm getting ready to move from the basement into a new commercial space. I'll update the pictures as soon as I get done.
Control room
racks
Current live room space
these are somewhat dated pics, and i've got quite a bit of new gear since, but this will give you the Idea.
The new space is 1700 sq.ft. and has a 15x20 ft. control room with 10ft ceilings a 25x30 foot(roughly)live room with 15 foot ceilings a vocal booth and a large iso booth for drums/amps or whatever. I've got 8 channels of ssl pre's and compression coming as well as a yamaha U-1 upright studio piano. I've got a pair of JBL LSR6332 3-way passive monitors with a sub that will be soffit mounted and used as mains. I'm pretty excited about the move. The building inspectors should be finished with the permit tomorrow and I should be in in 3-4 weeks.
Be Blessed

How did the move go, Josh?
Also, I'm curious about the shape & design of your console support. Was it custom, or did you get that from a standard vendor like Omnirax or Raxxess? Inquiriing minds, etc. |

I'm just now starting the building process, but should be in in a couple weeks. I'll keep you guys posted. The desk is an Argosy desk. (an Aura 260-R) I'm actually selling it if anyone's interested. Just PM me. The reason I'm selling is that Argosy makes a desk especially for the FW-1884 and it will work alot better for me.
The Aura 260 also has 2racks with 8 RU spaces under each side of the desk.
They're great desks |

Here's the new space as of a couple days ago. I've started the initial framing. Should be done with that in a couple of days then it's on to all the interior framing and the double studding Isolating Bonanza.
