I'm going to buy an Rosetta 200, which I plan to connect to my Mac Pro via the Mac's built-in optical SPDIF inputs.
Will this work? Or do I need to get a sound card or other audio interface that has a clock? Will it make a difference in the sound?
Thanks in advance for the advice. |

You don't need a separate external clock. It should work just fine using the Rosetta's internal clock. |
