SHOTGUN MIC for around $700-800

i just want to know what shotgun mic would give me the most for my money for around 700 or 800 bucks... i need to buy one soon@!!!

i considered the Audio-Technica 815ST... any reviews on that?

And if you are using it for film, video or ENG work you would need a shockmount, boompole and several other items. If you don't already have them you need to include these items in your budget.

Are you using a mixer, DAT, digital recorder (FR-2, etc.), direct to camera and if direct to camera what type of camera?
