is this a good microphone for rap vocals?
cuz i bought it and it sounds thin?
Im running it towards a mbox 2
is there anything i can do to make sound fatten?
i double them but still sound kinda thin? |

eq the crap out of the low end frequencies!
haha idk. eq the the vox's low end frequencies to maybe fatten it up a bit?
that or try different mic positions. its hard to say if ur running just the mic through the mbox. |

so what else should i run it to besides just the mbox
and when u say eq the low end frequency how would i do that like what are the frequency for low end...can you give me an example |

Nino, try different mic positions first (thanks Bear), before you start touching eq's.
Post an example, we'll take a listen and make some suggestions.

oh thats cuz it came with a deallike he just said hell hook it up i got the mbox 2 which thats the whole reason i went to go buy...and sum studio monitors for 500 so i thought it was good cuz the mbox 2 is like 450...and the mic was like 180 and the monitors were like 150 so i got it all for 500... |

Don't do that.
Spending more money on cheap ass "tube" FX boxes isn't going to help.
