Concret Room, 18x11, floor and control room required advice

Hey guys whts ummm so this is my first post ever in this forum....so ok here is the scene...i have this place tht my friend rented...its a mazanine floor like a commercial place to work....its short in height....so the dimensions are like 18x11 and the height would not be more thn 8 feet.... the room is totally concrete since the construction over here in India is done on concrete everywhere...no wood houses or apartments.... so i'm gonna be making a recording floor and control room both in this place...now i need to know how much space should i give to the floor and control room out of this 18x11 room.... i need to make the floor sound proof too so i will probably build another concrete wall to seperate floor and control room now how thick should i make tht wall between should it be 12 inches thick...will tht be enough to block the drums sound....i don't have problems of neighbours....since its a commercial place to work ...so walls on the sides are concrete as well but i guess not thicker thn 5 or 6 inch........k now i've two rooms.....how should i do wiring from floor to the control room...should i make it through the walls like drilling holes for individual cables to let through and make the connectors on each ends....or should i make a board in the wall to connect things.....if i go with the board thing how will be able to maintain my sound proofing..... or should i bring the cables from outside from a concealed wall or a snake pipe to let cables through no holes or boards in the wall between two rooms....please guide me with tht......and wht about the glass....it should be put angular like a little in acute angle shape probably... so should it be just one glass or should i double it....how thick the glass should be in MM.....like 3mm or 4mm each.....how many should i put 1 or 2 ...depending on the thickness of the wall....and how will i be able to maintain the sound proofing while installing the glass....i guess these are the basic things while starting the construction of new studio so please help me out with this... and when i'm done with these then i'll layout my acoustic details of the room... remember my rooms height will probably be around 8 feet or if i'm lucky enough it will be 8.5.....well please guide me through...i haven't been to the place yet...since its in another town...so i will be going there in 3 weeks....i gotta plan it out before i reach there and as soon as i hit the town i'll start working on it right away....or may be tell him to start working on few things....prior my arrival...thank you very much for reading such a long request.....

I would expect one door will allow access in and out of this building. The location of that door will tell you what you are going to be doing. May be a window there that will need consideration. If it is a door from the street then maybe a partition to separate the recording environment from the street is in order. Sort of like making an office area as clients enter.

If all the walls and floor are concrete does that mean the ceiling is concrete? If this is a fully concreted enclosure another thing to consider is air getting into and out of the structure. Concrete buildings tend to have mildew and water concerns that typical wood structures do not.

You may find that keeping it as one room is far more easier then making changes to every little item in the room. It is, after all, rented and most of the changes you want to do will have to be cleared with the owner and often local building code enforcement agencies.
