This is a clip of the documentary made for Herbie Hancock's Possibilities album, which one (a) grammy(s) last year.
The song is Don't Explain by Billie Holliday performed by Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. I love the warm sound of these mics. The one that the female singer is using appears to be pretty distinctive, so I thought some of you guys might know it fairly easily. The other mic is a bit typical looking and they don't show the front, but you can tell it's longish and not too large in circumference. Anyways, a picture says a thousand words, so here's the link:
one of these mics should be a Telefunken Ela-M 251 (the one the girl uses)
the other one could be a Neumann or Akg C 12 , both are Tube-Mics.
