Hello everyone. With the recent gains of the OSX86 project, has anyone used it for a home studio? I can't really see a reason it would be any different if it is set up correctly, but I was looking for some more input before I jumped in headfirst
And also, I know that there are tons of hardware info, but if anyone has any suggestions specific to home recording it would be appreciated.

I know nothing of OSX86, but I know that if you want advise on hardware, people are going to need to know what specifically you want to do with it, what you have already, and what your price range is. Home recording is a very broad topic my friend.
The osx86 project makes the use of Apple's OS on regular PC hardware. It has recently been made more and more accessible to users with some more basic computer knowledge, and as far as the setup goes, I have Cubase 4 for OSX, with a Presonus Firestudio interface. Maybe I should post this somewhere else?
