Cool. I'll be giving this a thorough listen over the next few days. I hear a lot of old Iron Maiden influence in there though I could be off. Thanks for the preview.
Edit: Okay. From first listen I can tell you I love the music. I would...er....will buy this cd. Lot's of great ideas going on in there. Of course I happen to like Cookie Monster vocals(sincerely), though I do tend to hear them in comedic afterthought. And yes. You did a great job with the production. |

Gave it a full listen last night. Sounds great with some minor hiccups. I'm sure you're well aware though. The acoustic guitars did sound a bit thin in the car on the way to work today but that could just be my car stereo. Nothing sounds right in there. It may be nothing but I noticed that the bass dissappears into the mix on a few songs as soon as the guitar kicks in. Could this be a phase thing? |

Ha yes there is quite a bit of goofy things in there, if you speak german or know someone who does, have them translate parts, quite a bit of potty humor and randomness in there.
Hope the song "August" didn't destroy your stereo...my note was to 'cause peoples stereo's to blow up' with the bass drops...but they are also in the key of the song which is good.
As for the bass, I'm not sure, I haven't done a listen through in my car, which tends to give me a good representation overall.
I don't consider these final, just 99.9% final mixes.
As for the acoustic guitars, they were meant to sound thin in parts, other parts, not so much! My brother can play a mean electric guitar but he freezes up with an acoustic...hence the use of a lot of piano! |

oh and thanks for the compliments! It's not too hard, just gotta mix the solos and leads in there, plus getting the keyboard stuff to come out
PLUS! make the acoustic song fit in well with the rest of the songs that was tough |

Well, it was nitpicking after all. It does sound great. Chuck Schuldiner would have been proud of those vox. |

I'm not trying to pump you up here but I love the tracks. I'm not easy to please either. I like to lay it on the line if I think something sucks. Those tracks sound classic to me. April and August have to be two of my favorite tracks. I really wish someone else would give this a listen. |

Are you taking names and addresses for the free disc, or what? |
