Does anyone know where you can get rolls of clear/translucent mass loaded vinyl in New York City, preferably in Brooklyn? |

What a question to answer! Why do you want MLV to begin with? In Studio applications MLV is overpriced for for what it does acoustically. The mass in MLV is lead, which is not transparent.

for the benefits vs. space it takes up, i thought it to be affordable. There is no lead in MLV, just dense vinyl, and translucent mlv is readily available but costly to ship. I was having trouble finding it NYC and dont have enough free time to do a thorough web search so though someone here might have a quick answer. |

I can't find the clear MLV on that site, nor any specifications. Do you have any other link ? |

I had seen that site..thank you. Its going to go over windows. I want to keep some light in while eliminating some of the traffic noise outside. |

I'm actually not sure if using double glass windows with MLV is really better than without it.. unless there's a cavity of air involved. Is there any data about this when used in conjunction with glass ? |
