Well i'm about to start building my home studio. I've already posted here for these but now I have upgraded my designs and made up my mind. I REALLY DO NEED two different spaces, one for tracking and one for mixing because i work a lot with musicians/producers right by my side and is much more comfortable for the way i work. Given the circumstances i came up with this two designs. I was leaning towards the first one, ith te hexagonal splayed alls but i'm not sure yet. It is possible for me to expand to an adjacent room in a couple of years if my brother moves out.
I posted a rotated version of design 1 to clarify the simmetry issue. ALL MEASURES ARE IN METERS (1m=3.28')
So, what do you think?
Thanks
eFe
P.S.: I will post details as soon as i have the drawings.

Forget three rooms and just make two - a large control room and a small booth. Then apply as much bass trapping and other treatment as you can possible manage. |
