I have both the AKG K240 ($100.00) and the AKG K55 ($30.00) and the only sonic differences are:
1) K55 are a little tighter in the bass
2) K240 are more articulate in the highest highs
That's it. |

I bought 4 of the "more me" phones a week ago, and for the money I don't think you can beat them. Their return policy is second to none too. You should check them out. |

I read a review somewhere (can't remember where) on the cheap Behringer headphones. Apparently the HPS3000 which is designed for studio reference are garbage but the HPX2000 which is geared for DJs is great. Both are ~$20. |
