Odd sounds during playback

When using Fruity Loops XXL, my sound starts jumping/clicking... but it only happens on Fruity Loops.. i increased my buffer size to see if it would help but that didn't help....

My card is m-audio delta 1010lt 4 gig ram and a quad core cpu. it should be able to handle fruitly loops no problem but the sound jumps and breaks up... when exporting the sound how ever its pure perfect with no jumps or anything.. so its only on live playback...

I don't get this issue with Nuendo and that uses wayyyy more tracks than fruity loops ever would.... any one know what could be causing it... (using Vista by the way).

OK, maybe check your sample rate.

BTW, was is Cardiff for a holiday and loved it.....good food unlike the Brits.

Is there a better program to make trance type music than Fruity Loops?
