synth strings... i think it ties in with midi and synth work

anyone know of any really god synth plug ins i can get my hands on? im looking for something dxi or vst something that will sound like a full orchestra string setting or something along those lines...

If you're looking for truly realistic orchestras, a sampler is the way to go. The best thing to do is find the sound library you want, then pick the sampler that it works best with.

If you are looking for more of a synth sounding orchestra like just some string sounds there are a lot of choices. I like the Wavestation from the Korg Legacy.

Check out www.kvr-vst.com. That's the best source for plugin info I know of.
