I'm going to use tact to reply to you. I found SONAR 5 on eBAY for a very low price. I noticed the seller stated it was used. "Used" means 'I opened it, didn't like and would like to sell it'. When I got it, it was on DVD. I immediately emailed the seller and threatened to turn them in to eBAY and to Cakewalk, but they said they where not allowed to sell on eBAY anymore and they promised not to sell pirated copies anymore either. I can only take people @ their word. I do not use SONAR 5 to record music to sell. I do not use SONAR 5 to make money. I use my SONAR 5 to record MY worship music at my local church. I do not have a band. I am my own band. I do not have a choir, I record my vocals to help the only 2 team members I have. However, I appreciate you responding to me, just don't judge me.

I'm going to be tactful in my reply, not trying to make any enemies here.

Look, I applaud you for recording your worship music and all, I'm donating studio time to a friend for a gospel project.......but you went ahead and decided to use a pirated copy.

"Used" means 'I opened it, didn't like and would like to sell it'.
Did it say "Unregistered"? Some software companies will even make provisions for license transfers for previously resgistered copies, but cracked copies are stolen, no matter what you're using them for. I'm just encouraging you to do the right thing and use a legitimate copy. If you're not doing commercial music production, do you really need Sonar 5 or its equivilent? There are plenty of affordable recording softwares out there....you can get Sony Acid Music Studio for $70 and it will do everything you need to. End of sermon.
