    Default avalon 737

    Hey ALL,

got a quick question, in Autralia the Avalon 737 has a pretty decent price tag on it,(around $4500), was wondering what the street price in the states is, I have a friend from boston coming to Australia soon so, yes, you all know what im thinking!Power supply isnt an issue as i have a good friend who works at one of melbournes top studio's who has done this conversion before.
well, any help will be appreciated!

    cheers

The Avalon comes standard with switchable voltage. Simply switch to the correct voltage on the back and you're good to go in any country.

I saw one for sale on another forum yesterday for $1525. Don't know if it is cool to mention the other forums name. If you email me I'll let you know where to find it. By the way I like the 737 and don't think the compressor is as bad as I've heard others say. I think it is very useful. Good Luck.

    Sammy,

If your friend is in Boston, have him pick you up a mercenary edition 737 from Mercenary (www.mercenary.com), which is in his neighborhood. The ME is the same as the 737-SP, but has plastic knobs instead of metal, and a black face instead of silver. It's about $250 (US) cheaper than the SP.
