Thread: How to do what?

I'm recording and mixing the sound and music to a commersial video, that's gonna be about 30mins long.

I'm making a little surround sound in 5.1

I'm working with a digital workstation that provides mixing in 5.1(and other surround systems)

The question is how do i do to get the surround sound to a DVD with the moving picture?

The workstation i'm using can output all the channels in separate outputs!

But how do I combine them so that the DVD players can read them in 5.1?

I'm a little new to this surround sound system!

I think something like SoundFoge 'soft encode, will do the trick...it's an ac3 encoder...but i really dont know either yet but i need to find out too.
Can anyone that knows this stuff please answer
