I need URGENT!!! advice

Filming is complete. if I learned anything, it would be that next time I should make sure to have a boom op whose only job is Boom op. There is a huge diference between a steady boob op and a shakey-handed one. Its a much tougher job than I previously gave credit. I also should prepare to be yelled at constantly because good sound should be a given and not need to take any time any space nor any thought. getting good levels is not important enough to keep everyone quiet even a moment before the word "action" yet with the slightest bit of distortion, i should know that it is completely my fault. Oh yeah, and what posessed me to cause all of those airplanes to fly over while we were filming. I should be ashamed of myself.

Yes, this is why audio folks are crankie people, they are hearing stuff nobody else hears until listening on speaker monitors.
I forgot to tell you, make them wait until the plane flies over. They will be pissed at the moment, but thank you later for the good sound. And tell them to shoot the plane flying over too, so they can cut to it.....plane sound needs plane in picture.

Hold on.... I made a mistake.... Good sound never gets a thank you.... Bad sound you get fired.!!!
