Thread: Trident 80b pres and eq's

Do these stand up to Neve/API pres and eq's? I can get a pair for a good price, but need to decide soon. I'm sure you guys have experience with them.... what do you think?

I will stay out of the pre asessment, as I havent got an opinion.

BUT the eq is a classic! Great quality 'cut' on gtr and quite the thing to bring out the bell or 'chink' up on a funky hihat.

For the eq alone WORTH GETTING, audition the pre against what you already have over time..(what DO you have BTW?)

I have one fairly rare EQ ONLY version of Trident B, I dig it.
