    Default Shielding for NS10's

I'm considering moving some things around in my control room and was thinking of putting my CRT monitors between my NS10's. How could I go about shielding the drivers in the NS10's so there's no issues between the CRT's and the NS10's? Thanks.

I'd like to know this as well. My NS-10Ms have to be placed very close to dual 17" CRTs. Replacing the CRTs with LCDs is -not- feasible.

shielding the ns-10's will affect the magnetic fields of the drivers.... thereby changing sound!!

    don't do it!!

get better monitors.... (audio or visual)
It is always the same until someone changes it

Its done the same way as shielding speaker cabs, except this time you build a box for your CRT monitor. You just have to make sure you have plenty of ventilation, as those babies get HOT!

My thoughts as well ... You need to use MU Metal to shield eletronic components. Considering the cost of the Mu Metal, just switching over the flat panel monitors would most likely be the cheaper way to go. Plus you will get the added benifit of less heat and lass space constraints. I love my flat panel monitor. IMO it's a much better investmrent than something like a control surface.
