Last I heard it really was almost to you. What's the latest? In another month Beringer will be releasing their "Centipede", complete with Dave Hill's typos in the DSP code.

    Brad,

If it's knobs with the wrong color line that's one thing, but I hope he's not waiting for DSP chips that still have to be burned.

    D'ya know?

Uh, no, that was a joke, but if you're serious about it that's a pretty good example of a game of 'Telephone' in 4 messages with no mentions in between (I guess I'd better start inserting them smilies), although 'Catepillar' is pretty good too!

Proper cooling of the DSP chips. Everything else is pretty much done. There are a few more things David wants to try before resorting to a fan on the DSP chips.

There remains a couple of watts of heat surrounding the DSP that may lead to instability, which is something David is uncomfortable releasing.

It's kinda funny in a way...he thought all the 'Class A' shit was going to give him the greatest amount of 'heat dissipation problems, but it turns out that it's the 'digital processors' that are getting the hottest.

Last we talked [yesterday] he was going to mess around with a 'finned piece aluminum bar' over the DSP chips...he said there was about an inch and a half to play with...if that works, then he's pretty confident he can avoid fans. There are some pretty quiet fans that can be used...several units you may already have employ internal fans...but David is trying to avoid going that route.

    Does this help?

    Fletcher,
