Anyone actually use or hear the Spider?? I was curious if anyone has had any "hands on" with the CraneSong Spider .............. how was it? The second coming of Christ or just another day in land of 0's & 1's?? Seems like quite the package with a high bang for the buck factor, if you can muster up that kind of green.

I've got a Spider, but I haven't really put it to the test yet (waiting for wordclock distribution - got a Genx6 on the way). I did fire it up and record a little acoustic guitar; it sounds phenomenal. I have other Crane Song gear that I use regularly (Flamingo, Trakkers) and I have to say that it is absolutely top-shelf world-class equipment. Now I have to upgrade everthing else in the studio to equal the quality :D
