When I click through to Cakewalk's website and read about Sonar, it looks like it's an MS Windows only product. Too bad, I'm a Mac guy.

Correct, Sonar is built for Windows. Great advantages to dedicated software= more focused to specific OS, less buggy, more for your $ because less dev has to go into making it work as a cross platform.
Sonar 8.5 is outstanding, much like Samplitude and Sequoia which are both PC DAWs as well.. Its why I use them both and why I no longer am a Mac guy.

My Mac is now for the internet, Sonar and Sequoia are for hybrid audio production.

Mods have expressed interest so I'm including one of them in this now. You must do a Blog on why you think you should win.

Get at it! Still plenty of time left.

Note: This is only the beginning to many Blog giveaways. Have fun!

Great stuff. I've been w/ Sonar since it was Pro Audio. It's my vehicle of choice.

IMO, no better DAW is there. I already own this version ... but wanted to let others know it's the best out there ... in case they haven't discovered yet.
