Default Where can I download pro mixing tracks to practice on?

I want to download some songs but have all the seperate tracks like vocals, guitar, drums, etc..

I want the tracks to be professionally recorded so that I can compair my recordings to theirs.

Is there any place that offers the studio session for download?

    Thanks

I use Hard rock bands with very high end recordings as a sort of reference. As long as you know without a doubt they take thier recordings seriously then I think they should be safe to use.
Like for example I want to get my kick tight like Killswitch or my guitars Thick like Chevelle... etc...

Duncan Sheik's album White Limousine apparently included the raw source tracks so audiences could make their own mixes of the songs.

Cool. I will look for the White Limousine tracks. Would you happen to have a link to them? Or are they on the CD when you buy it?

I will also take the other advice to heart. I mainly want to see if my tracks compair to pro tracks in a raw state.

I don't. The tracks come on a dvd that comes with the album, but I don't know whether only certain editions contain this extra disc.

Another collection of sources for this type of thing are the various books about using your DAW. For instance this book about PT has a CD of tracks that you can mix and edit. Might not be exactly the type of music you want to work with, but at least it is a reference point. Added bonus might be tips about your DAW that you have not explored

the www.bradsux.net site is not working. Nothing loads when I click the link.

The book idea is not a bad idea. I got some old mixing mags around that come with dvd's. I am going to check them. :D

dont know if it's still available but at one time steinberg had tracks available for the tune they used for the release of C4... they had it set up as a mix contest for new users...
