Hey gang! My band "The Beasts of Eden" new track! Please listen and critique/comment.

Hello ALL,

I wanted to post a new tune from my bands upcoming record and see what you guy's think. This track is called "Wake Like A Dream". It was recorded by myself and my best friend who is the singer in the band. We cut drums and bass in an empty house in upstate NYC and the rest at my studio in Brooklyn. This was truly a labor of love and a lot of work but i think we nailed the sound we were shooting for. I haven't posted this up on any forums since finishing it a while back and i think its time to get some comments or critiques on the mix and tone of the track. Enjoy and please leave feedback!

Hi! While listening I notice the nice drum set you got on the song! I miss some of the bass lines... but I can sense it there, but I think that you may build some more weight around those bass lines! Beyond that I feel that there is a lack on the kick to! So you got the vocals right on spot, guitars are beautiful and well placed, and tone wise the song is very nice indeed! You got a nice job done in this one! Please check out those tiny but very important issues I talked earlier! Cheers!

I like this a lot. It has that dreamy drive to it. It has good tone on all the instruments and the mix is well done. I hear the bass but dont feel it. I was waiting for that special bridge to come around but it never did. Overall a class act. Nice job.
