    Default Rod/kightfly/john/paul woodcock/room within a room experts

ok, guys, David French, is helping me, treat my control room. We are doing some tests on wednesday, to fiqure out where to place foam/traps etc.

Now, on to my studio room. I want to build a room within a room. I am going to post a paint sketch of the room, with measurments, and, details, about how the room was constructed.

I will need some help getting through this. I want to build this room, to have space, for drums, and also, vocals. I dont know, if i should build a seperate vocal booth, inside the room, or what. I also, dont know how to get started. I am handy, have all of the supplies, including tools, and, I have been doing alot of work, on research for the past 12 months.

    Where do we start?

    ok,. here we go.

I have provided some sketch up jpegs, that you can see the measurments of the room, and, the layout. I have tried to be as scale as possible.

Now, the floor, is harwood, but, is not in great shape. the floors, ceilings and walls, are made of concrete. I do not know much more than that, except for that they are very solid.

This is a condo, and, i have people, below and above me. But, i never ever, hear anyone walking, or talking etc. Its very quiet. I had my smaller setup in here, and, never got a complaint.

    Lets get started!!!
