Hi. im thinking of buying one of the auralex max-wall kits and a pair of sunburst 360's, does anyone own any of these and will they help with my mixes there is a wall behind my monitors and i sit maybe 3 feet from the monitors when im mixing thankyou for any help. Jim.

I have some sunbursts. They work okay. Many things i read here say to start with bass traps.
My advice would be to read the FAQ, then re-read it.Give your room dimensions and what type of surfaces are in your room.

What I did the first time i set up a room was to buy lots of foam and put it up. It wasn't the best way to treat the space and is more expensive than many other options.

In fairness, the DIY solutions, while more cost-effective and acoustic-effective, do take a lot of work.

I went that route and I don't regret it, but the time I spent not making music should be factored in.
