It's spring time... and she runs a mobile... I suspect she's gearing up, or is already geared up for the season.

I noticed I wasn't getting long, biting, accurate critiques of my posts lately.

Things just don't feel right around here w/o Remy...

Hi all. Thank you for your concern. Yes, there has been some bad stuff happening around here. My lover, partner, shrink, confidante, bed partner died in my arms. Gazing lovingly into my eyes as she passed. I've spent almost half my life with her since she was a six-week old kitten. My life has been turned upside down. I told my partner, my honey of 16 years that, I think I love my kitty more than I love him? Thankfully being a kitty person himself, he understands. This is like having my second child, my baby, die in my arms without ever closing her eyes. I didn't even know she had passed until she started getting stiff with rigor mortise.

And as you surmised, between trying to be there for my sick kitty, I am gearing up for a change & preparing for a new push to inspire some more business. Looks like I'm meeting with Paul Reed Smith about buying one of my Neve consoles, in whole or part, Wednesday night. I'd really love him to have it but the deal has to be right for both of us. I'm not giving it away. I'm also in discussions with two other possible partnerships? So both busy/busy without any income & my partners parents are both dying from cancer. So he hasn't been very actively involved. Plus, my old tube driven Bendix ultrasonic cleaner has died. I've got to get this thing working again and I hope it's not like my kitty, gone forever. What a wonderful dear friend she was. What a wonderful show. I just can't get used to her being gone. I lived for her and she lived for me. I hate being home without her around.

And, on another, hopefully more happy note, good luck on the sale of the Neve. I miss my little Melbourne every day, wish I'd have been able to keep it. And if you end up selling your BBB (Big Bad Board) to PRS, get him to throw in a nice McCarty hollowbody from his Private Stock catalogue... as a perk !
