OK, there's no way any of you would know this, but I thought I would check before I dive in myself. I have a CD master that needs to be duplicated onto cassettes with Dolby B. Thing is, the duplication system keeps it digital all the way until the signal is put on hub of tape which is then loaded into the plastic shell.

I have recently been shown this mixing trick (encoding) and am quite interested in obtaining a stereo setup of these units myself for mixing. Anyone know where these suckers can be found? I've heard of them selling around

There are some 362 and 365 units out there, and I'm wondering if removing the low / low-mid processing is possible? The A301 has the pull cards.

I have a client with material on a 1" tape. We have been told that they think it is 24 track 15ips with dolby s, but maybe, just maybe it is 16 track with dbx reduction. Anybody out there have any idea where I might get this done. checked with transfermat at toy specialist, and they are not optomistic.

Delivery specs for a project ask for Dolby "warble" tone. This is on a Digibeta. I'm at a total loss. Dolby has no info on "warble tone".
What is it, and what is it used for, and how can I generate it?

Anyone know of a software plugin that can convert standard stereo or dolby stereo to surrounf 5.1? Like the TC electronics Unwrap or Z-systems K6 processor.
Been fiddeling around with manual remixing the stuff but I got a feeling that it shouldnt be to hard to make something like this, most of these processor basicaly devide the channels on their stereo spread and frequency.

Just for kicks...I'm wondering who here tracks to analog with Dolby SR?
