Ok, I'm not sure where to exactly post this but I figured this is a great site to ask the question.
yes, its a repost from a while back, i still havent fixed it and just now got around to recording the sound. i recorded this in Audacity, but it does the SAME thing when in ableton. i also found out that my mic doesnt even have to be on! i recorded this with the phantom power off on the multimix. so it has to be the computer or something!
Please bear with me here; I'm a composer with decent composing chops but still very much a student of recording and mixing. My problem is that I'm getting noise on the recordings that I make of my compositions, which are all recorded with virtual instruments. This has been a problem only recently; I'll explain why later on.
I bought a brand new sE-X1 large diaphragm mic.
I'm using it with my M-Audio MobilePre to record piano.
Hi all!
I've spent hours upon hours trying to figure out this problem before breaking down and signing up so I could start my own "please help me" thread.. facepalm
I'll try to keep the back-story short and concise.. I'm just getting into recording, doing stuff on the cheap for now and I understand and accept that the sound won't be perfect..
Using Mac OS 10.8.2 with Digital Performer 7.24 . . is there any AU software that is similar to Bias 'Soundsoap' that will run on this OS? Soundsoap is incompatible, and Bias is out of business. Everything I've found is either too complicated, too expensive, or requires an i-Lok. I primarily want to remove ambient background noise from vocal recordings. Thanks for any assistance!
Hey everybody i just embarked on my first reamping episode, sending my d.i. out through my PreSonus audiobox, into the XLR input on my jcr reamp box, then the output of the reamp box hitting my mic'd up peavey 6505+. I was getting an okay tone but the amount of noise coming from it makes the tone unusable.
Hi,
I recorded someone speaking for 30 seconds. I recorded them live with a Zoom H4N Handy Recorder. I have a .wav file with background noise for one second and two beeps in the background. I would like to hire someone to eliminate the noise.
I hope this is the correct place to post this.
Thanks in advance,
