Few thoughts on a preamp for electro-acoustic guitar

Hi there.

I'm currently on a RME HDSP 9632 using only the analog in's and sp/dif out (at the moment).
I record only guitar, both electric and electro-acoustic.

However, I find the input from the El-acoustic to be a tad too low for an effective recording, hence the topic/subject of this post.

Need a cheap preamp for talk-back mic

Forums

I've got a Tascam FW-1082 with the headphone output going into a Samson C-Que headphone distribution amp. I want to add a talk-back mic without sacrificing any of the board's 8 inputs.

The C-Que has an additional inject input that mixes with the stereo outs from the board. I'd like to add a preamp and mic there. I tried it with one of my other preamps and it works well.

Which Preamp for guitar recording.

Being that this is a budget gear forum,I would like responses to be within the $100-$150 range. Yes, the more expensive the better, but I record as a hobby (stress relief), not professional. Personal experience would be great. I will be using this in a DAW set up running Adobe Audition 1.5 going straight into a Audiophile 2496 soundcard.

Thanks

Hello,
I have Neumann TLM 103 mic and Motu828mkII. I am looking for a preamp for voice and acoustic guitar. My music style is pop, vocal, soft rock. The recorded voice sounds harsh using the preamp inside Motu828mkII and TLM 103. My budget for preamp is
