First of all, sorry for my english.
I ´m researching about how could I someone archive 24/96 and 24/192 recordings, stereo.
If the recording is 16/44.1, we used dat or a regular CD-R blank.
But now, with recordings in 24/96 and 24/192 ?
I ask about accesible media, in price and the possibility of purchase it anywhere.
Alesis Masterlink is an example: 24/96 stereo audio on a regular CD-R blank in the Alesis CD24 format.

Save the the recording as a data file as in a CD-ROM.

    What about DVD-ROM?
That should give you more space for your "Kingkong" files.

...remember to put the disc in a black case for archiving.

Store the data files to DVD using a DVD burner. We're using a Plextor PX-708A.
