A mixer function that allows monitoring of a signal after the channel fader. Contrast with PFL.

    AFL (After Fader Listen)

AFL Is a type of solo function within a mixing console; a non-destructive mono feed from the channel path, taken post-fader. Because the feed occurs after the fader its level will be affected by both the fader level and the mute button.
