    For hip-hop vocals:

    Right now I got:
    2. EQ
    3. Ad libs
    4. Reverb
    5. Pan

    Anything else I'm missing?

Also, does the order matter with Compression and EQ? Is it more advantageous to do 1 before the other?

    Thanks A lot

i don't think there's any hard and fast rule but personally I eq before the compression, that way the compression tends to bring out your eq settings. If you have your eq after the compression you are potentially adding more dynamics that your compression has already smoothed out - not necessarily something you would want.

A bit like saying "I'm painting a landscape picture and I have red, yellow, blue, black and white paint. Anything missing?"

What do you mean, Ad libs? Doesn't Ad libs normally mean improvised (made up) sections of music (in the case of recording vocals)? Is that really part of your vocal signal processing?
