    First things, first:

    I've owned 3 LSR6328P mains, 2 LSR6325P surrounds , and a LSR6321SP sub from JBL, for about a year.
I do post for television, and DVD remastering.

I recently auditioned the 4300 series, and walked away knowing I spent the right money on the 6300 series.

What caught my eye was the room compensation analysing software. Was curious if this really works.

It's a great concept but you really can't correct for crappy acoustics in a crappy room. You have to fix the room first. I too am a diehard JBL fan but I use mostly they're old monitors and no active equalization in the monitor chain. I don't like speaker equalization. I don't believe in it. If the room is crappy, learn the sound by numerous comparisons and listening environments. Then you can better understand what is coming out of your speakers and mix accordingly without trying to correct the problem in your mix.
