    Hi all,
Im trying to bounce to disk , using dig 002 rack ,PTLE to my
macbook pro , but after going through the process I get this
    message

"could not complete bounce to disk because
    Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vbpc/Altura ports/New FileLibs/
    FileFormat/MacBuild/../../FF/Audio/FF_AudioProperty.cpp",line33.

Can anyone out there shed some light and point me in the right
direction please ,without suggesting changing the hardware/software
Ive done lots of bounce to disk before but
this is the first time it hasnt completed the task .

Are you using the internal HD to both read and bounce to?

That's a problem. Digi always recommends to record to a seperate volume.

I had a similar problem when I upgraded to PT8 and had a firmware issue that was resolved via a patch on the site.

We could probably help you, but you're probably better off with the DUC on DIGIs site. Have your exact configuration and PT version ready.
