Ok here's the deal. Everytime I record guitar into soundforge 7, I get a clicking noise. I just recorded some vocals and everything was fine, no click. I am mic'ing my amp with a shure sm57, which does not touch the grill. I have tried different patch cables, made sure there is no clipping what so ever, and also tried a different mic, the EV ND257B. The mic is plugged into my mixer (Alesis Multimix 12 FXD), which is connected to my audio interface (edirol UA-3) . The click happens pretty often and I really need to fix it as I am racing towards a deadline to finish a jingle. Please Help!!! and thanks!

    Hey,

have you checked the edirol UA-3 is using the same sampling rate / bit depth as sound forge ?
