I run my analog signal into an Apogee PSX-100SE, which then carries the signal into a Lynx AES16 card in my DAW. The Apogee shows the level at around -2 to 6dB, but the Lynx software mixer shows the signal at +12 to +16dB, and my recording application (Sound Forge) shows a level comprable to the Apogee (around -2 to -6dB). I cannot understand why they would show different signal levels... anyone have any thoughts about this?
    Thank you.

  2. Could be scales. Somethings use DB somethings use DBFS. As long as the beginning result and end are the same you are fine though
