ok, i need a cool buisness name.

    thusfar i have "fideliphonics"
sounds high quality...as in my friend jeremy when he coined the term:

[referring to my work]: "the fidelaphonics on this record were incredibly high"

    thoughts?

how did yall come up with yrs?

If you don't mind a mutt coinage (you're mixing Latin and Greek) it's fine. The term homosexual caught on despite the same problem. I'd spell it with the i instead of the a. I can't come up with a pure Greek equivalent that's as euphonious, nor a Latin one that looks like it has anything to do with audio. Since it'd only bug someone as linguistically anal as I am, why not?

    Owen,

The name of my studio was a "gift"...

The address is: 2220 Kentucky Avenue...

Which led to (phonetically speaking): 20to20...
    (as in, 20Hz - 20kHz)

BTW, I like Ang1970's idea of using your initials...

    "There's no place like OM!"

Yeah that's OK. "OM". But if I was you I'd meditate on it for a while. (Zen joke of the day.)

    Kind regards

Hmm. You might have a problems with this Owen.
Pronunciation for instance. Is this a hard "O" or a soft one. As in "gone" or "home".
If it's soft then it would be like Ohm. You could find you have some resistance to this.

BTW you might check out Julian's post on promotion. See if he's got a thread on how to get rid of jokers when putting up a serious post.
You might avoid the following comment by me re
    littledog's thing about Cuban music:

"And of course with fidel in the name you
could establish a good reputation for a congennial work environment. People could have
a really good (socialist)party when using you!!"

At the moment the coolest name I could think of for you would be "Owen's Fridge"

Serioulsy though, don't like Fidelophonics. Look how much trouble it's caused you already!!
