    Hi,
It seems that Cubase wont let you send the metronome output to an individual bus so that only the drummer can hear it. Any ideas?? I can only think of syncing my drum machine and recording the analog click back into SX2. Thanks for your help.

Well, in what situation would you need this?

Guessing that its for live recording...
I always thow the guitars and such's cans on one aux mix, monitoring all of the channels being inputted into the computer.
Then, I throw the drummer's cans on another mix, which includes monitoring all of the input PLUS one channel of computer output with the click from Cubase.

If its for recording lets say bass and drums monitoring all the other recorded stuff on the putah, then I have no clue. I haven't figured out how to get Cubase to do that either.

I'm interested in knowing if SX3 allows for this also, and likewise for 4.

    Hi,
I'm not using a board for monitoring, I monitor using ASIO out of my RME 96/52. Yes, its for live recording. Someone mentioned that I can use LM7 VSTi. I think that should work.

Hmmm. Yeah. I think you can assign the metronome to a specific midi channel and that through a vsti which you can then bus. I don't remember, but I think that's how it works. I rarely use the metronome.

I'll just bus the VSTi channel to my drummers monitor bus out and that should work fine.
