Delta 1010LT

Discussion in 'Recording' started by forgetmeknots, Feb 23, 2005.

  1. I'm pretty sure this may have been asked before, but for some reason the search function isn't working. With the delta 1010lt, from the description I see that it has : 8x8 analog I/O, balanced on female XLR and unbalanced on gold-plated RCA connectors, with signal level adjustments selectable within the Delta Control Panel.

So does my balanced signal from my mic get converted inside my mixer to coincide with the unbalanced RCA connectors on the inputs of this soundcard?

    Most likely. What mixer?

  3. I'm glad you asked David. That will be my next purchase I believe, So far I have the Delta 1010Lt, Nuendo 2.2, My PC, a MIDI keyboard, and a small Mic collection. I've been looking at both the Yamaha 02R and the Tascam DM24 digital mixers as my choices but I got some saving to do. Any feedback or advice?

If you're going with a DM24 or 02R, it seems like the thing to have would be an ADAT card. Have you considered this?
